Last modified on 11/12/2009 at 1:32:00 PM. Total 2751 views.

In Vietnam the genus Euodia (Rutaceae) includes 6 species, as follows: Euodia crassifolia Merr., Euodia calophylla Guillaum., Euodia lepta (Spreng.) Merr., Euodia oreophila Guillaum., Euodia pasteuriana A. Chev. ex Guillaum., and Euodia simplicifolia Ridley. Based on characters of leaves and flowers we have differentiated all species. E. oreophila is different from E. lepta by characters of veins and calyx. E. crassifolia is different from E. simplifolia by characters of veins and number of leaflets. E. calophylla is different from E. crassifolia, E. simplifolia & E. pasteriana by inflorescence characters. Euodia is closely related to Tetradium by having opposite leaves and capsular fruits but Euodia is different from Tetradium in the number of leaflets.
