Secondary succession of vegetation in Me Linh biodiversity station, Vinh Phuc province

Last modified on 30/10/2009 at 3:58:00 PM. Total 4616 views.

Secondary succession of tropical monsoon, dense evergreen, broadleaf forest on lowland is characterized by 11 secondary status, from secondary forest to secondary low grasslands. They are combined into 9 secondary – restoration series and all of them are closely related in development of succession. If the human impacts are stopped, the secondary forest will restore and cover at least 50% of the study area. These scientific data are important for rational utilization of natural resources and biodiversity conservation.
