The timber plant group in the North Huong Hoa Nature Reserve is rich, comprising 36 families and 116 species; among them, the Pinophyta consists of 2 families, 5 species; the Magnoliophyta 34 families, 111 species. The most diverse families are: Fabaceae - 12 species, Lauraceae - 11 species, Fagaceae - 10 species, Anacardiaceae and Ebenaceae - 65 species each, Meliaceae - 5 species, Podocardiaceae - 4 species. The ornamental plant group is comprised of 37 species. The species-rich families are: Orchidaceae - 14 species; Moraceae - 4 species. Some principal species are Barringtonia spp., many species in Orchidaceae and some in Polypodiophyta and Pinophyta.
