Biological features of Huong bai plant - Vetiveria zizanoides (L.) Nash in Thua Thien Hue province

In 2001 and 2003, the Ministry of Agriculture Rural Development and Ministry of Transportation have decided to allow use of Vetiver grass for the purpose of alleviating disaster. In 2005 - 2008 the Huong River Management Department of Thua Thien Hue province has deployed Vetiver grass planting to combat erosion in the area of Huong River, Xuoc Du River and the Bo River. This article presents some results of research on Vetiveria zizanoides in Thua Thien Hue.
