At present, the Cu Lao Cham islands has 36 species in 23 families of wild edible vegetation. Some species have high nutritional value and palatability such as Xanthoxylum nitidum (Lamk.) DC, Xanthoxylum sp., and Strophioblachia fimbricalyx Boerl. The initial results of study showed potential use of 2 species, Emilia sonchifolia L. DC and Emilia gaudichaudii Gagn, both in the Asteraceae family.
