The mean number of taxa (family, genus and species) in Cat Loc are all the lowest of those in: Cuc Phuong, Pu Mat, Bach Ma and Sapa - Phansipan. The 10 most diverse families (6.62%) contain 145 genera representing 28.43% of the total genera and 252 species representing 32.56% of the total species of the flora. The 8 species - rich genera (1.57%) contain 59 species representing 7.6% of the total species of the flora.
