In the special used forest of the Yen Tu belonging to Quang Ninh province, there are 4 divisions of higher vascular plants (Lycopodiophyta, Polypodiophyta, Gymnospermae and Angiospermae) with 711 registered species, 427 genera and 154 families. Among them, the Angiospermae is dominant with 670 species, 398 genera and 133 families; the Polypodiophyta with 28 species, 19 genera, 15 families; the Gymnospermae with 8 species, 7 genera, 4 families and lastly the Lycopodiophyta with 5 species, 3 genera, 2 families.
